Good News and Simple Tools
for Resilience, Self-Regulation and Healing

In this interactive presentation, participants will acquire skills to help regulate emotions and behavior, build resilience and transform stress/trauma.

These skills are also essential tools for preventing compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma. Participants will practice breath work, HeartMath, bilateral movement, muscle relaxation, visualization, acupressure, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and other brain-body strategies.  Dr. Chamberlain shows how each practice is adaptable for children, adults and families.

These techniques are used in a wide range of settings including parenting and children/youth programs, early education, schools, family shelters, intervention programs for interpersonal violence and addiction, refugee camps and war zones.

Linda highlights her work with Capacitar International, a popular education approach that is being used in more than 40 countries to empower families and communities with tools for healing and well-being.
